The official date of Diablo 4 Season 8 has been announced, and it will be here in less than a month. New bosses and new boss powers will be coming. But all players will have to start from scratch, and your legendary items, gold, and materials will all move into Eternal and cannot be used in Season 8.
Is the new season completely separated from the old season? Not entirely. In fact, the new season does inherit some content from the old season, which will provide some minor help for the new season. As long as you complete this part of the content, you can get mounts and extra skill points in advance in the new season.
Activate All Altars Of Lilith
There are more than 160 Altars of Lilith in the game. You can find them in every area on the map. After activating them, you can get some fixed stats, which can be inherited every season. However, activating all Altars of Lilith may take you several hours. It is best to find the best route map online and activate them one by one. Otherwise, you will wander around the map like a headless fly. And you will soon forget which altars you have activated.
Activating all the altars will give you the following rewards:
- +2 Strength
- +2 Dexterity
- +2 Intelligence
- +2 Willpower
- +5 Murming Obols Capacity
- +1 Paragon Point
Maximum Reputation
Different regions in the game have 5 levels of reputation. After unlocking all the reputation levels, you can also get some rewards, which can be carried over to the new season.
The general rewards are as follows:
- Skill Points
- Potion Capacity
- Max Obols
- Paragon Points
Obol is another currency in the game besides Diablo 4 Gold. It is used to exchanging unidentified items and Whispering Keys. If you don’t have Altars of Lilith unlocked and your reputation with the region maxed out, you can stack up to 500 Obols in your inventory. Once you’ve unlocked all Altars and maxed out your reputation, your Murming Obols capacity will be maxed out.
Paragon Points give you some extra boosts. You can claim these rewards when the new season starts. They can help you get a head start on other players in the new season.
Unlock Mounts
Diablo IV’s map is huge, and with Vessel of Hatred DLC, it’s much bigger. It takes a long time to walk from Fractured Peaks to Scosglen, but that time is greatly reduced when you have a mount.
Mounts are also something you can bring into the new season, but you’ll need to complete the entire campaign first to get them as soon as the new season starts. You’ll especially need to complete the quest Donan’s Favor, which unlocks mounts in Act 4.
After you meet the above conditions and enter the new season, you can choose to skip the campaign when creating a new character, and then you can go to Stable Master to claim the mount and its appearance and armor.
Join A Clan
You can clear all dungeons by yourself like a hero, but this process will be very lonely and a waste of time. Join a clan and find some friends who like this game like you. It will be much more efficient to attack dungeons and world bosses together. You don’t have to think too much about build selection, and you can think more about how to cooperate with your friends.
Some clans will continue to recruit players, and you can find many recruitment posts on Reddit. Whether you are a returning player or a novice, they are happy to help you. You can exchange PVP, PVE and clearance experience.
Learn The Classes
There will be a lot of changes in the class in Diablo 4 season 8, and it’s not a bad thing to understand these changes. Basically, each class has its own unique style, and they can all play a special role in battle.
Each class has a variety of builds, some are stronger and some are weaker. Some are great for farming Diablo 4 gold and XP early in the game, others are more powerful in the late game. Players categorize class builds into these categories:
- Leveling Builds
- Endgame Builds
- Speed Farming Builds
- Boss Builds
- PVP Builds
Any build you play has its strengths. The new season will introduce new powers, Boss Powers. These are even stronger than the witch powers in season 7, and they will have an impact on the strength of the class. If you want to try the strongest builds in the new season, here are my predictions for the new season:
- Rank 1: Barbarian and Sorcerer
- Rank 2: Spiritborn
- Rank 3: Druid and Necromancer
- Rank 4: Rogue
Since the key Diablo 4 items of Rogue have been weakened, many builds of the class have been hit hard, and Sorcerer has been greatly strengthened in the new season, which may perform very well. It is highly recommended that players try Sorcerer in season 8.
The above are some suggestions on how to prepare for Season 8. There is still some time before the new season arrives, so you have plenty of time to complete the above preparations.
