As a solution to this road functionality problem, Tesla has come up with Matrix headlights which owners especially use in their Tesla Model 3 and Model Y.

    According to Tesla, the Matrix headlights increase nighttime drivability and decrease energy usage by 16%. It is reported that the brightness level has been increased by 12% in Matrix headlights.

    In terms of night functionality and safety, Matrix headlights are, without any doubt, better than their counterparts. The only drawback which comes with these headlights is their legality. However, this problem is expected to be solved really soon.

    Both of the headlights have their own benefits but the few differences between them may help you make up your mind in terms of the type better suited for you.
